National Rifle Association unsecured creditors committee appointed

Olympia, Wash., Feb. 4 – The National Rifle Association of America’s official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed by Region 6 U.S. trustee William T. Neary, according to a notice filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.

The interim committee chair is Jack Butler of Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp., based in Washington D.C.

Other committee members include Bill Winkler of Ackerman McQueen, Inc., David Hamrick of InfoCision, Inc., James J. Economos of Stone River Gear, LLC and David Dell’Aquila, represented by Elliott Schuchardt.

The gun rights advocacy group filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Jan. 15 under case number 21-30085.
