Diocese of Syracuse reports $205,992 net loss for May

Olympia, Wash., June 28 – The Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse reported a $205,992 net loss for May on $3.06 million of gross income, according to its monthly operating report filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of New York.
To compare, the diocese reported a $650,856 net loss for April on $3.01 million of gross income.
The diocese reported a cash balance of $1.21 million at the end of May, up from $574,397 at the end of April.
The Syracuse, N.Y.-based diocese filed bankruptcy on June 19, 2020 under Chapter 11 case number 20-30663.
