Diocese of Syracuse reports $1.62 million profit for July

Olympia, Wash., Sept. 2 – The Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse reported a $1.62 million profit for July on $2.75 million gross income, according to its monthly operating report filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of New York.
The diocese reported a cash balance at the end of the month of $573,075.
The Syracuse, N.Y.-based diocese filed bankruptcy on June 19, 2020 under Chapter 11 case number 20-30663.
