Prospect News reports three new defaults for week of Oct. 1-Oct. 7

Olympia, Wash., Oct. 9 – Prospect News reported three new defaults for the week of Oct. 1 through Oct. 7.

Specifically, Prospect News reported Chapter 11 filings made by RTI Holding Co., LLC (Ruby Tuesday) and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rockville Centre, New York, and a Chapter 15 filing made by PizzaExpress Financing 2 plc.

So far in 2020, Prospect News has reported 259 defaults, including 183 Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings, 29 missed interest payments, 12 Chapter 15 bankruptcy filings, six missed principal payments, five CCAA filings, four missed payments, three each of missed interest and principal payments, Chapter 7 bankruptcy filings and defaults, two each of administrations, CBCA filings and scheme of arrangement proceedings and one each of restructurings, reorganizations, appointments of receivers and Danish Section 11b filings.

The three companies that filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy this week listed over $200 million in assets and over $200 million in debt.
