Lucky’s Market obtains further extension of exclusive plan periods

By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., Oct. 19 – Lucky’s Market received a sixth extension of its exclusive periods for filing and soliciting votes on a Chapter 11 plan, according to an order filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Specifically, Lucky’s exclusive plan-filing period was extended through Nov. 30 and the solicitation period through Jan. 28.

As previously reported, the company said its goal is to confirm a liquidating plan and it has been working with its secured lender and the official committee of unsecured creditors to achieve that goal.

Lucky’s is a Niwot, Colo.-based supermarket operator. The company filed bankruptcy on Jan. 27, 2020 under Chapter 11 case number 20-10166.
