S&P gives Siemens Energy BBB

S&P said it assigned BBB issuer ratings to Siemens Energy AG and Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG.

Siemens plans to spin off its conventional and renewable power generation assets into Siemens Energy AG.

After the separation, Siemens AG will deconsolidate the new entity and no longer exercise control over Siemens Energy.

The outlook is stable, reflecting the view the company will operate successfully as a publicly traded company, S&P said.
