RGN-Group Holdings receives extension of exclusive plan periods

By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., Nov. 18 – RGN-Group Holdings, LLC obtained an extension of its exclusive periods to file and solicit votes on a Chapter 11 plan, according to an order filed Monday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The court extended the plan filing period through March 16 and the solicitation period through May 17, 2021.

“Particularly while the full extent of the damage done by the Covid-19 pandemic remains unknown, the debtors believe that maintaining their exclusive right to file and solicit votes on a Chapter 11 plan is important to their ability to complete a value-maximizing process and achieve their goals as efficiently and expeditiously as possible without the risk of the substantial additional costs and disruption that could follow an expiration of the exclusivity periods,” the company said in its motion.

“Accordingly, each debtor requests an extension of its respective exclusivity periods to continue the progress to date and to preclude the costly disruption that would occur if competing plans were to be proposed.”

Carrollton, Tex.-based RGN provides workplace solutions to independent and mobile professionals, home-based businesses, small and emerging businesses and midsize-to-large corporations. The company filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Aug. 17 under case number 20-11961.
