India’s IIFL buys back some 5 7/8% secured notes due 2023

Concord, N.H., March 30 – IIFL Finance Ltd., formerly known as IIFL Holdings Ltd., has bought back $1 million of its 5 7/8% secured notes due April 20, 2023 through the open market and is canceling the notes, according to a regulatory announcement.

The $400 million issue (series 01) was sold under the company’s $1 billion medium-term note program and is listed on the Singapore Exchange.

The financial services company is based in Mumbai.
