S&P turns Fidelis view to positive

S&P said it revised its outlook to positive from stable on Fidelis Insurance Holdings Ltd. and affirmed its BBB long-term issuer credit rating.

“The positive outlook reflects our expectations that Fidelis will further strengthen its competitive position while deploying its new capital raised, taking advantage of favorable re/insurance pricing, and sustaining its strong underwriting performance. We believe the increasing scale and disciplined underwriting will translate into increased operating earnings,” S&P said in a press release.
