Advisors Disciplined Trust 830 offers Dividend Income Value units

Minneapolis, March 16 - Advisors Disciplined Trust 830 is offering units of Dividend Income Value Strategy Portfolio, Series 2012-1Q, according to an S-6 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The depositor is Monument, Colo.-based Advisors Asset Management, Inc.

The trust seeks to provide total return, dividend income and capital appreciation by investing in a portfolio consisting of the 10 highest-yielding stocks in the Dow Jones industrial average and the 15 highest-yielding stocks from a portion of the Standard & Poor's Industrials Index. The stocks were selected by using the Value Ten Strategy and the Value S&P Industrials Strategy.

On March 16, the trust's inception date, $148,626 of contracts to purchase securities comprised the trust. The 15,013 units have an initial offering price of $10 and a net asset value of $9.655 each. The estimated net annual distribution is $0.3080 per unit.

Each unit carries a maximum sales fee of 2.95%, which is comprised of an initial sales fee of 1%, a deferred sales fee of 1.5% and a creation and development fee of 0.45%. The fee may be reduced on a sliding scale to 1.4% depending on the number of units purchased.

The trust has a mandatory termination date of June 19, 2013.
