Nature’s Medicines gets $42 million loan from Advanced Flower

Chicago, May 28 – Nature's Medicines has received a $42 million credit facility through an affiliate of Advanced Flower Capital Management, LLC, according to a news release.

The affiliate will retain $32 million of the facility and syndicate $10 million to a third party.

The loan is a first-lien term loan that can be drawn upon over a one-year period.

It is secured by first-lien mortgages on Nature’s Medicines’ wholly owned properties and other commercial-security interest.

AFC served as lead arranger and administrative agent for the transaction.

Proceeds will be used to streamline Nature’s Medicines’ capital structure and support its expansion initiatives, which include growth in Arizona and significant expansion into the Michigan market.

Nature’s Medicines is an Arizona-based cultivator and retailer of medical and recreational-use cannabis currently operating in six states.
