Fitch gives Flutter loan BBB

Fitch Ratings said it assigned Flutter Entertainment plc's new term loan B an expected BBB senior secured rating.

“The debt rating is one notch above Flutter's BBB- long-term issuer default rating (IDR), which has a stable outlook,” Fitch said in a press release.

“The announced refinancing will improve Flutter's debt maturity profile, pushing maturities to 2028-2030. At the same time, the debt will become slightly concentrated, with all facilities falling due within a 24-month period. We view such concentration as acceptable, given the material reduction in leverage forecast for 2026, the final year in Fitch's rating horizon,” the agency said in a press release.
