Flutter to take on more debt for €1.91 billion Sisal acquisition

Chicago, Dec. 23 – Flutter Entertainment plc will finance its €1.913 billion acquisition of Sisal with additional debt facilities, according to a press release.

Flutter is buying Sisal from CVC Capital Partners Fund VI.

Barclays has committed to provide the additional debt.

The consideration includes full repayment of all of Sisal’s debt upon completion of the transaction.

Subject to customary approvals, the transaction is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2022.

Flutter Entertainment is a Dublin-based sports betting and gaming operator. Sisal is an Italian online gaming operator.
