New Issue: GS Finance sells $616,000 buffered digital notes on Russell 2000

Chicago, Dec. 13 – GS Finance Corp. priced $616,000 of 0% buffered digital securities due Nov. 29, 2024 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
If the index finishes at or above 85% of its initial level, the payout at maturity will be $1,130 for each $1,000 of notes. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the index declines beyond 15%.
