S&P gives Vena Energy notes BBB-

S&P said it assigned a BBB- rating to the senior unsecured notes that Vena Energy Capital Pte. Ltd. proposes to issue. The notes will be sold under Vena Energy Capital's $1 billion guaranteed euro medium-term note program, which the agency rated BBB-.

All debt raised at Vena Energy Capital under the MTN program will be guaranteed on a joint and several basis by Vena Energy Holdings Ltd., Vena Energy (Taiwan) Holdings Ltd. and Zenith Japan Holdings Ltd. (as trustee of Zenith Japan Holdings Trust).

Vena Energy Capital intends to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes (including the refinancing of borrowings) and working capital and capital expenditure requirements of Vena Energy Group.
