Simec Atlantis Energy asks holders to extend debentures for one year

Chicago, June 2 – Simec Atlantis Energy Ltd. is requesting an extension on its debentures for an additional year, asking to extend the AOE17 debenture maturity date to June 30, 2024 from June 30, 2023, according to a notice.

The company is offering to pay enhanced interest for the extension period of 10%.

The debentures were issued in 2017 through Atlantis Ocean Energy with the support of Abundance Investment Ltd.

For the extension, the company needs the support of 75% principal amount.

The results of the vote are expected before the end of the month.

Simec Atlantis Energy is a U.K.-based developer of renewable and sustainable energy projects.
