S&P puts Rikshem on watch

S&P said it placed its A- for Rikshem AB on CreditWatch with negative implications. “The placement follows the announcement of revised owner directives. We believe the intention to pay dividends to its owners would result in Rikshem's surpluses no longer remaining invested in public services,” said S&P in a press release.

The agency plans to resolve the CreditWatch placement within the next 90 days after it examines the effect of the revised owner directives on Rikshem's purpose and mission and considers an alternative ratings approach under applicable criteria.
