New Issue: Malaysia's Adventa issues RM 70 million of Islamic MTNs in two parts

Madison, Wis., July 20 - Adventa Bhd. said that it issued RM 70 million of Islamic medium-term notes under its previously announced Islamic paper and Islamic MTN program on Wednesday.

The sukuk were issued in two tranches of RM 20 million and RM 50 million. The RM 20 million tranche has a tenor of five years, and the RM 50 million tranche has a tenor of seven years.

Maybank Investment Bank Bhd. is the adviser, lead arranger and lead manager for the program, which is guaranteed by Maybank Islamic Bhd.

As previously reported, proceeds will be used to finance working capital requirements, investments or capital expenditure and to refinance borrowings.

Based in Kota Bharu, Malaysia, Adventa manufactures and distributes medical products and devices.
