By Rebecca Melvin

New York, Feb. 26 – Lalitpur Power Generation Co. Ltd. has postponed a planned dollar-denominated benchmark of 10-year notes due to lack of demand, according to a news report, citing people familiar with the deal.

Proceeds of the deal were to have been used to repay part of the company’s senior debt, subordinated debt and capital creditors, create a debt service account and for general corporate purposes.

The issuer is a thermal power producer based in Uttar Pradesh province.
