New Issue: New World Development sells HK$1.5 billion 4.89% notes due 2049

New York, Dec. 31 – China’s NWD Finance (MTN) Ltd. issued HK$1.5 billion 4.89% notes due 2049 that are guaranteed by New World Development Co. Ltd., according to a notice.

The notes priced under the issuer’s $6 billion guaranteed medium-term note program.

HSBC was dealer for the Regulation S notes.

Application has been made to list the notes on the Hong Kong exchange. Listing is expected to occur on Jan. 2.

New World Development is a Hong Kong-based conglomerate.
