Lexington, Ky., Sept. 11 – Inter-American Development Bank sold a Rs. 3.5 billion add-on of 7% notes due April 17, 2033, according to a pricing supplement.
The additional notes priced at 98.589 plus Rs. 96,393,442.62 representing 144 days’ accrued interest.
Principal payment and interest amounts are payable in U.S. dollars.
The issue price will be payable in the amount of $42,968,000.52 at the agreed rate of Rs. 82.55 per $1.00.
Merrill Lynch International was the bookrunner for this tranche of the registered notes.
Proceeds will be used for the ordinary capital resources of the bank.
The notes will be consolidated and form a single series with the original Rs. 4.25 billion issued on April 17 and Rs. 4.25 billion issued on July 12.
The agency provides financing and technical assistance to businesses in Latin America and the Caribbean and is based in Washington, D.C.
