Fitch rates Healthpeak notes BBB+
Fitch Ratings said it assigned a BBB+ rating to the senior unsecured notes issued by Healthpeak Properties, Inc. (PEAK). The outlook is stable.
As a healthcare REIT, whose portfolio includes senior housing facilities (about one-third of net operating income), Fitch expects operating EBITDA and leverage will be hurt by the coronavirus, the agency said.
However, the outlook reflects Fitch’s view the company has sufficient liquidity to manage through heightened volatility in the capital markets, the agency said.
