MTE Holdings enters bankruptcy with more than $100 million in debt

Pittsburgh, Oct. 22 – MTE Holdings LLC filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy Tuesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

According to court documents, MTE has $10 billion to $50 billion in assets and $100 million to $500 million in debt.

The company did not list any unsecured creditors with claims of $1 million or more.

MTE lists Olam Energy Resources I LLC as its managing member.

No other case information had been filed as of Tuesday evening.

Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell is representing the company in its Chapter 11 cases.

MTE is a Midland, Tex.-based holding company. The Chapter 11 case number is 19-12269.
