New Issue: RBC sells $105,000 buffered enhanced return notes on ETF basket
Chicago, Jan. 28 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $105,000 of buffered enhanced return notes due May 1, 2024 linked to a basket of two exchange-traded funds, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The basket consists of the SPDR Gold Shares and the iShares Silver trust with equal weights.
If the basket return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 140% of the basket gain, subject to a maximum payment of par plus 20%. Investors will receive par if the basket falls by up to 15% and lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 15%.
