Hollister Construction asks for further solicitation period extension

By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., Nov. 13 – Hollister Construction Services, LLC is seeking another extension of its exclusive period for soliciting votes on a plan of liquidation, according to a motion filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.

The company is asking for the court to extend the exclusive solicitation period by 90 days through March 7 from Sept. 8.

As previously reported, Hollister filed its plan and related disclosure statement on June 19. The disclosure statement hearing is scheduled for Nov. 19.

“The debtor believes that a modest extension of its exclusive right to solicit votes on a Chapter 11 plan will facilitate a successful reorganization for the benefit of all stakeholders, in light of the debtor’s ongoing discussions and negotiations with key stakeholders regarding a global settlement that the debtor believes will lead to a consensual plan and confirmation process,” the company said in the motion.

Hollister is a Parsippany, N.J.-based construction company. The company filed bankruptcy on Sept. 11, 2019 under Chapter 11 case number 19-27439.
