Moody’s affirms Spire Missouri, Spire Alabama

Moody’s Investors Service said it affirmed Spire Missouri Inc.'s A1 senior secured rating and Spire Alabama Inc.'s A2 senior unsecured rating. The outlooks are stable.

“Spire Missouri and Spire Alabama's rating affirmations reflect their low-risk nature as gas distribution utilities operating in credit supportive regulatory jurisdictions which allow the companies to maintain stable credit metrics,” Jeff Cassella, Moody's vice president, senior credit officer, said in a news release.
