DBRS rates Ontario Teachers offering AAA

DBRS said it assigned a provisional rating of AAA with a stable trend to the proposed U.S. dollar-denominated senior notes to be issued by Ontario Teachers Finance Trust. The trust is a wholly owned financing subsidiary of Ontario Teachers Pension Plan Board.

The notes are guaranteed by pension plan board and rank pari passu with all other unsecured and unsubordinated obligations of the trust.
