Former Things Remembered OK’d to auction off remaining real estate

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, May 14 – RMBR Liquidation, Inc., formerly Things Remembered, Inc., received court approval sell its remaining real estate assets through a public auction, according to an order filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The vacant property to be sold includes property located at its former corporate headquarters and an industrial landsite located in Jackson Township, Ohio.

Chartwell Real Estate Auctions, Hanna Commercial, LLC and auctioneer Michael Berland will conduct the auction in exchange for payment of a 10% premium and reimbursement of $9,200 of their marketing expenses.

The sales must be completed by Sept. 5.

Things Remembered is a Cleveland-based omnichannel retailer of personalized gifts and merchandise. It filed bankruptcy on Feb. 5 under Chapter 11 case number 19-10234.
