Alberta talks dollar five-year notes at mid-swaps plus 30 bps area

Tupelo, Miss., Nov. 5 – The Province of Alberta (Aa1/AA) plans to price dollar-denominated five-year registered global notes on Tuesday, according to a market source and a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes due Nov. 13, 2024 are initially talked to print in the mid-swaps plus 30 basis points area.

Barclays, BMO Capital Markets Corp., National Bank Financial Inc. and RBC Capital Markets, LLC are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used for general government purposes.
