Fitch revises Panamanian banks view to negative

Fitch Ratings said it revised the outlooks on the long-term issuer default ratings of six Panamanian banks to negative from stable. The banks are: Banco Nacional de Panama, Banco General, Credicorp Bank, Global Bank Corp., MMG Bank Corp. and Banco Internacional de Costa Rica to negative from stable and affirmed their viability ratings and issuer default ratings.

The rating actions follow the revision of the outlook on Panama’s long-term IDRs to negative from stable.
