S&P cuts AnaCap Financial Europe

S&P said it lowered the ratings for AnaCap Financial Europe SA and its notes to B from B+.

“We expect AFE’s financial metrics to deteriorate significantly in 2020 to levels no longer commensurate with the B+ rating level. We expect the group’s leverage in 2020 to deteriorate significantly to about 9.6x-9.8x debt to EBITDA from 4.2x at year-end 2019. This EBITDA metric includes amortization of principal from collections,” said S&P in a press release.

The outlook is stable.
