Jefferies puts Advanced Magnetics at buy

Advanced Magnetics, Inc. was rated at a buy by Jefferies & Co., Inc. analyst Adam Walsh following discussions with two investigators from the ongoing ferumoxytol phase 3 trials indicating safety remains clean. Top-line data from the ferumoxytol safety trial and/or pre-dialysis phase 3 trial is expected in the fourth quarter. Shares of the Cambridge, Mass.-based pharmaceutical products company were up 49 cents, or 1.43%, at $34.70. (Nasdaq: AMAG)
