Mission Coal posts $6.28 million operating loss for Oct. 15-Nov. 30

Pittsburgh, Dec. 31 – Mission Coal Co., LLC reported a $6.28 million loss from operations for the period of Oct. 15 through Nov. 30 on $75.16 million in total revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Alabama.

The net loss for the period was $126.58 million.

The company had $26.31 million in cash and cash equivalents as of Nov. 30.

Mission is a Kingsport, Tenn.-based coal company. The company filed bankruptcy on Oct. 14 under Chapter 11 case number 18-04177.
