Fitch ups El Corte Ingles

Fitch Ratings said it upgraded El Corte Ingles SA’s long-term issuer default rating to BB+ from BB. The agency affirmed the company’s senior rating.

“The upgrade reflects ECI's deleveraging in financial year ended February 2019 (FY19), aided by asset disposals and stable operating performance,” Fitch said in a press release.

The outlook remains positive.
