Product Quest trustee OK’d to sell Florida property for $1.68 million

Pittsburgh, March 7 – Product Quest Manufacturing, LLC Chapter 7 trustee C. Edwin Allman III received court approval of the $1.68 million sale of Florida property owned by three Product Quest debtors to Industrial Assets Corp., according to an order filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of North Carolina.

The property is owned by the JBTRS, LLC, PQ Real Estate, LLC and Product Quest Manufacturing debtors.

According to the order, $1.43 million of the purchase price will be allocated to Product Quest Manufacturing, $145,000 will go to JBTRS, and $105,000 will be allocated to PQ Real Estate.

The assets being sold include real property, machinery, equipment and chemical inventory.

Holly Hill, Fla.-based Product Quest manufactures primarily over-the-counter drugs and cosmetics, as well as some prescription drugs and animal health products. The company filed bankruptcy on Sept. 7, 2018 under Chapter 11 case number 18-50946.
