New Issue: Telkom Indonesia issues Rp 758 billion conventional notes, Rp 742 billion Islamic notes

New York, Sept. 5 – PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) has issued Rp 758 billion of medium-term conventional notes and Rp 742 billion of medium-term Islamic notes at par in three series each, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission report filing.

In conventional notes, the telecom company issued Rp 262 billion of one-year notes to yield 7¼%, Rp 200 billion of two-year notes to yield 8%, and Rp 296 billion of three-year notes to yield 8.35%.

In Islamic notes, the company issued Rp 264 billion of one-year notes returning 7¼%, Rp 296 billion of two-year notes returning 8%, and Rp 182 billion of three-year notes yielding 8.35%.

The proceeds will be used for the development of access and its backbone network, especially development of tis FTTH broadband network, or fiber to the home.

Telkom is a majority state-owned telecommunications conglomerate.
