S&P assigns A- to Prologis Yen

S&P said it assigned its A- issuer credit rating to Prologis Inc. subsidiary Prologis Yen Finance LLC.

The outlook is stable.

The agency said the rating highlights the importance and role of the newly formed subsidiary Prologis Yen in its overall group.

S&P said it expects that the company will be the issuer for yen-denominated bonds guaranteed by Prologis LP.

“We view Prologis Yen as integral to its group's identity and strategy, given our belief that this entity is a financing subsidiary set up specifically to raise corporate debt on behalf of the group,” the agency said in a news release.
