S&P acts on Danish banks

S&P said it raised its ratings on Jyske Bank and revised the outlook for other Danish banks saying it sees lower economic risks in the country and interest rates remaining low.

“We raised our ICR on the bank to A from A- because of our expectation that its increased ALAC buffer would provide meaningful protection to senior creditors in a resolution scenario. Jyske Bank has been ramping up its issuance of senior nonpreferred instruments since 2018,” said S&P in a press release.

The agency revised the outlook on DLR Kredit A/S to stable from positive and affirmed all the ratings

S&P also revised the outlook on Danske Bank A/S to stable from negative and affirmed all the ratings.
