New Issue: Wells Fargo sells $500,000 leveraged market-linked notes on S&P

Olympia, Wash., Oct. 11 – Wells Fargo Finance LLC priced $500,000 of 0% market-linked securities – leveraged upside participation and contingent downside due Oct. 6, 2023 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Wells Fargo & Co.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 146% of any gain in the index.

If the index falls but not beyond 20%, the payout will be par.

Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 20%.
