New Issue: Malaysia’s Eco World International sells RM 180 million five-year sukuk

Morgantown, W.Va., April 27 – Eco World International Bhd. issued RM 180 million of Islamic medium-term notes on Friday, according to a Bursa Malaysia announcement.

The five-year notes were issued under the company’s RM 800 million sukuk program.

CIMB Investment Bank Bhd. and Maybank Investment Bank Bhd. are the joint lead arrangers and joint lead managers for the 20-year sukuk program.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, working capital or future financing.

The property developer is based in Shah Alam, Malaysia.
