Walmart comes to market with a four-part offering of notes
Chicago, Sept. 6 – Walmart Inc. is offering four fixed-rate notes, according to a Tuesday 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
There will be optional make-whole call and par calls.
Barclays, BofA Securities, Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC are acting as joint bookrunners for the SEC-registered deal.
Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the trustee.
Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is advising Walmart regarding legal matters. Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP is working as counsel to the underwriters.
Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
The discount retailer is based in Bentonville, Ark.
