Brazil’s Hidrovias mandates banks, sets roadshow for seven-year dollar-denominated notes

By Rebecca Melvin

New York, Jan. 8 – Hidrovias International Finance Sārl, a subsidiary of Hidrovias do Brasil SA, plans to price an offering of dollar-denominated seven-year senior notes, a market source said on Monday.

The notes have four years of call protection.

Bookrunners BofA Merrill Lynch, Itau, Morgan Stanley, BB Securities and Santander Securities are holding investors meetings that will wrap up on Jan. 16.

Proceeds will be used to refinance the totality of the guarantor group’s project-finance debt.

Based in Sao Paulo, Hidrovias is the largest inland waterway services company in Brazil.
