Chicago, Feb. 4 – Hidrovias International Finance Sarl, a subsidiary of Hidrovias do Brasil SA, sold $500 million of 4.95% notes due 2031 (Ba3/BB), according to a company notice.
The notes will be guaranteed by the parent.
Proceeds will be used to fund a tender offer, as previously reported.
As of 5 p.m. ET on Feb. 2, the company had received tenders for $425,821,000 of the old notes.
The notes were being distributed through Rule 144A and Regulation S.
Based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Hidrovias is the largest inland waterway services company in Brazil.
