Brazil’s Hidrovias plans to issue new notes to fund tender offer

Chicago, Jan. 20 – Hidrovias International Finance Sarl, a subsidiary of Hidrovias do Brasil SA, as part of a financing condition of its launched tender offer, is planning to offer new notes, according to a press release.

To issue the new notes, the company needs the consents first of a majority of the bondholders holding the old notes.

Should the amendments to the old notes be made, the company will issue new notes to fund the tender offer for the company’s 5.95% notes due in 2025.

Based in Sao Paulo, Hidrovias is the largest inland waterway services company in Brazil.
