WorldStrides plan of reorganization unanimously accepted by lenders

Pittsburgh, Aug. 13 – The plan of reorganization filed by Lakeland Tours, LLC, which does business as WorldStrides, was unanimously accepted by voting creditors, according to a notice filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Specifically, all 377 holders of $622.49 million in loan claims voted to accept the plan.

WorldStrides is a Charlottesville, Va.-based provider of educational student travel. The company filed bankruptcy on July 20 under Chapter 11 case number 20-11647.
