Moody’s changes IEnova view

Moody's Investors Service said it changed the outlook of Infraestructura Energética Nova SAB de CV (IEnova) to negative from stable and affirmed the ratings of Baa1 to the $840 million senior unsecured notes.

The change in outlook follows the recent rating actions on the ratings and outlooks of the Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE; Baa1/Aa1.mx negative), Centro Nacional de Control del Gas Natural (Cenagas; Baa2/Aa2.mx negative) and Petróleos Mexicanos (Baa3/Aa3.mx negative).

“Given IEnova's relationship with Mexican government-owned counterparties, the change of outlook on IEnova's rating, follows from the outlook change on the ratings of CFE, Cenagas and Pemex,” the agency said in a news release.
