Fitch trims Pemex, CFE, IEnova, Cometa

Fitch Ratings said it downgraded the international foreign- and local-currency long-term ratings for Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex), Comision Federal de Electricidad (CFE), Infraestructura Energetica Nova SAB de CV y Subsidiarias’ (IEnova) and Cometa Energia, SA de CV following this week’s downgrade of Mexico’s sovereign rating to BBB-/OS from BBB/OS.

Fitch also affirmed El Puerto de Liverpool SAB de CV’s ratings and revised its outlook to stable from positive as a result of Mexico’s country ceiling downgrade to BBB+ from A-, the agency said.

Fitch revised Pemex’s outlook to stable from negative. The rating actions only affect international ratings.
