Moody’s rates Petrobras notes Ba2

Moody’s Investors Service said it assigned a Ba2 rating to Petrobras Global Finance BV’s proposed new global notes, which will be guaranteed by Petroleo Brasileiro SA (Petrobras). The Ba2 rating on the notes is based on Petrobras’ Ba2 rating.

The notes will rank equally with the companies’ other senior foreign current debt.

The outlook is stable.
