Remington gets $65 million stalking horse bid for ammunition business

Pittsburgh, Sept. 10 – Remington Outdoor Co., Inc. designated JJE Holdings, LLC as the stalking horse bidder for its ammunitions business, according to a notice filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Alabama.

JJE has agreed to pay $65 million for the ammunitions business and related assets.

Remington is a Huntsville, Ala.-based maker of guns and ammunition. The company filed bankruptcy on July 27 under Chapter 11 case number 20-81688.
