New Issue: Eastern and Southern African Trade sells $500 million 4 7/8% five-year notes

Morgantown, W.Va., May 23 – Eastern and Southern African Trade and Development Bank issued $500 million of 4 7/8% five-year notes, according to a notice.

Citigroup, Commerzbank, Emirates NBD, SMBC Nikko Capital, MUFG and Standard Chartered Bank acted as bookrunners.

Formerly PTA Bank, the issuer provides project and infrastructure finance and trade finance products and services in Eastern and Southern Africa. The bank is based in Bujumbura, Burundi.
